I didn't have time to read the whole thing, so here, with apologies to Dan , is a review of the first Riders of the Dead was from the fantasy universe, but Eisenhorn is from the Warhammer 40,000 setting. It tells the Quality-wise this is compared to Eisenhorn, the first series is still considered the better one but the quality is supposed to be similar and if someone liked the first he should like this too. Eisenhorn Book Cover A quick review on the book Eisenhorn, which is a omnibus of Xenos, Malleus and Hereticus written by Dan Abnett. I don't remember now why I picked up Eisenhorn, Dan Abnett's trilogy about an Inquisitor in the Warhammer 40K universe. It wasn't until I got back to California that I realized Marc had recommended a three-volume series, albeit one sent to me as an omnibus edition. I was inspired by the slight derailment of the Star Wars EU thread when we started talking about Warhammer 40K novels, so I'll make a new one just for that topic. In the meantime I have been getting to see what Abnett has done with his own Inquisitor, Gregor Eisenhorn. The Inquisitor Eisenhorn trilogy by Dan Abnett has proven to be one of the most popular series of books within the 40K line of the Black Library publication, and February 25th sees, for the first time, the individual release of the short story Missing in Action. Eisenhorn is an omnibus of three Warhammer 40k books – Xenos, Malleus and Hereticus – and are generally considered to be some of the best work to be set in the Warhammer 40k universe. As far as an introduction into the Warhammer 40,000 universe, I can think of no better. Today you can get them in one big omnibus with two short connecting stories. The great majority of this supposed quality comes from a particular writer who consolidated as the main pillar of the whole Black Library, and so of the Warhammer 40k universe in literary form: Dan Abnett. Eisenhorn (A Warhammer 40,000 Omnibus) best selction# Eisenhorn (A Warhammer 40,000 Omnibus) You Here! I finished the Eisenhorn Omnibus a few weeks ago and right now I couldn't be more hot for Warhammer 40K. While previously only available as part of the Eisenhorn Omnibus, this short story will soon be released as an e-publication, alongside another Eisenhorn story Backcloth for a Crown Additional. The Eisenhorn Omnibus is brilliant, one of my all time 40k Favourites, it's a shame that I didn't enjoy Ravenor as much as this. In the grim far future, the Inquisition moves amongst mankind like an avenging shadow, striking down daemons, aliens and heretics with uncompromising ruthlessness. Essentially, the Omnibus describes the exploits of an Imperial Inquisitor. This is an omnibus, written small, and contains a complete series.
